Education and Training
Our staff have over twenty-five years of shared experience working in the field of employment and supported employment. Freedom Career Services focuses on training and educating our staff. This dedication ensures we better serve our clients. We use the most current best practices related to supported employment. The staff at FCS use our education, training, and skill to help clients in setting their employment and personal goals. We then place each client on their own individual path toward success. We help to motivate our clients, and we work together as a team until our clients reach their set goals.
Shira Mandel
Shira Mandel is the Director of Freedom Career Services (FCS). Shira graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She also has a minor in Human Services. She has been working with diverse populations for over 25 years. Four years ago, Shira began working with people who have intellectual and/or cognitive disabilities. In August of 2018, Shira decided to open Freedom Career Services LLC. The agency provides supported employment and mentorship services for people with disabilities. FCS helps clients develop the skills necessary to obtain and keep employment in the community. Shira has built an exceptional agency. It encourages her clients to become independent thinkers and problem solvers on the job. Her mentorship services serve to enrich and empower her clients’ lives through thoughtful guidance and gained real-world experience. Shira believes that building her clients’ confidence is the biggest key to their success, both personally and professionally. Shira grew up in Evergreen, Colorado. She has three grown children, three grandchildren, and a puppy named Lilly. Shira enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and spending time outdoors. She briefly lived in Israel, and her bucket list includes traveling to every state in our beautiful country. She is a humanitarian who believes in helping people in our community to find a better way of life!

Janette Delgadillo
Janette Delgadillo is the Assistant of Freedom Career Services. Janette is a Colorado native. She has been a professional Job Coach and Mentor for adults with disabilities for over eight years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Her years of experience have enabled her to successfully help people of all different walks of life. Janette is very patient and empathetic when assisting our clients in reaching their goals. Janette believes that there is a perfect job for everyone, it’s just a matter of finding the job. In Janette’s off time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and her fur babies. Janette loves drawing and painting. Some of her favorite hobbies include playing the guitar and playing with clay. She also enjoys making jewelry, listening to her favorite music, and writing poetry. She also enjoys photography, jewelry making, and listening to music. Janette’s favorite part of her job is watching her clients meet their goals and exceed their own expectations!

Stephanie Watkins
Stephanie Watkins is a job coach and Administrative Assistant at FCS. She completed her bachelor’s degree in human services at Texas A&M Commerce. She has been working for FCS for 4 years and thoroughly enjoys it. Stephanie believes that people with disabilities don’t have enough support or resources. She gets excited to provide our clients with great services. She is masterful at retaining resources and assisting clients to help them reach their full potential. Stephanie is a native of Colorado and has three children. Her favorite activities are water rafting and doing fun things with her kids.
